Apparently the World Cup is approaching!
Never to miss an opportunity to jump on the band wagon of a huge sporting event, we have just released the Bur-ROY-to in all our restaurants. In case you haven’t figured it out, the idea is that this amazing burrito combination of flavours (roast pork belly in orange, crunchy crackling, spicy apple and chilli salsa) is Roy Hodgson themed! That might not sound like everyone’s cup of tea, and indeed without ever even biting through its pillowy tortilla casing, the people at Time Out have described it as “grim-sounding”. The cheek!
Thankfully those at Zoo Magazine had more sense to have a taste first and they went for “very tasty” while Metro said, “Get them in fast.”
The challenge for Felipe was to take a traditional British roast pork belly with all the trimmings (the kind that our Roy loves!) and make it Mexican and make it delicious. Please come in and give it a try.
The football theme continues in that we have teamed up with the fantastic guys at Street League and are donating 50p from every Bur-ROY-to sold to the cause.
The team at Street League uses the power of football to attract and engage with unemployed young people from the most challenging backgrounds. The aim is to progress them into employment, education or training, giving them a renewed vigour for life and work. Please help us spread the word about the great work they do.
